AutoCAD and point cloud data

Does it work in 3D?

We don't often use point clouds within AutoCAD – it is too difficult to use as the software really isn't set up for it.

AutoCAD doesn't work as well in 3D.

You have to rotate and copy the point cloud around in the model to create the different views you want. Almost like working with a Rubik's cube! When a client uses AutoCAD, we can create PDFs in Revit of all the different views they will need to create the drawings and then import the PDF's into AutoCAD.
