Existing Conditions, featured in the Bloomberg recap of AIA 2025, showcased 3D laser scanning tech to drive sustainable retrofits and adaptive reuse in architecture.

Existing Conditions Featured in National News

We’re excited to share that Existing Conditions was featured in Bloomberg covering the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2025. Not only were we mentioned by name, but two of the buildings pictured, 31 Milk Street and the Frick Collection, are projects we’ve worked on.

The big buzz around town is that retrofits and adaptive reuse are at the forefront of architects, engineers, and fellow industry leaders’ minds. They were excited to discover how our services enable more practical and sustainable approaches to working with existing structures. With 3D laser scanning and as-built documentation, architects and engineers gain a clear and accurate foundation – a blank canvas that empowers creative freedom.

The AIA Conference on Architecture & Design in Boston was a powerful reminder of how the built environment is evolving – and Existing Conditions, a GPRS company, was proud to be part of the conversation. With retrofits and adaptive reuse being a hot topic over the past few years, our booth drew attention from architects, engineers, and fellow industry leaders eager to explore more practical and sustainable ways to work with existing structures.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. The countdown begins to next year’s AIA Conference on Architecture & Design in San Diego, California!
